The Decorating Committee is responsible for creating a church environment that not only looks pretty, but fosters meditative prayer. Members of this committees’ main responsibility is to set up decor for big feasts, such as Christmas and Easter, but other more common duties include:

• Changing wall banners for appropriate seasons and occasions

• Making flower arrangements for the front of the altar

• Setting up the atmosphere for All-Night Adorations

• Maintaining plants on the altar; watering & moving to gathering space for light
